Janice Crosio Oval is located within Rosford Street Reserve in Smithfield, in Sydney’s western suburbs.
The oval features a grass athletics track, with synthetic long jump runways. There is a separate 8 lane sprint straight on the outside of the 8 lanes of the circular track.
The venue was named in 1995 after Janice Crosio AM MBE, the former Mayor of Fairfield and the first woman to be a cabinet minister in New South Wales parliament.
The venue is managed by the Fairfield City Council.
