The Maitland Regional Athletics Centre features a synthetic track. Construction of the venue cost $10.5m, with the facility being officially opened on 12 October 2020. Bridgestone Athletics Centre is located in the northern Adelaide suburb of Sailsbury and is South Australia’s second synthetic track. The track is on the site of Bridgestone’s tyre factory. Holsworthy Army Barracks Physical Fitness Facility features a four lane synthetic track approximately 580m in length. The track was installed in 2015 as part of an upgrade to the physical fitness facilities at the base. The venue is not available for public use. The St Kevin’s College Tooronga Sports Fields features an eight lane semi-circular 200m track. The track was officially opened on 17 June 2017. The venue features a two long jump its on the high jump D, a shot put circle and enclosed discus cage. The venue is managed by St Kevin’s College, a prestigious Melbourne independent school. Canterbury College is an independent school located on the Gold Coast, which has a six lane synthetic track. The track is a Mondo surface that was relaid in 2019 from the warm up track for the 2018 Commonwealth Games, as part of a tender process from the Games’ Legacy Asset Program. Read more…

The Lieutenant Commander Al Vonsenden Athletic Track and Field is located at HMAS Cerberus on Melbourne’s Mornington Peninsula. HMAS Cerberus is the Australian Navy’s premier training establishment.
