The Sylvania Waters Athletics Track was previously a rubberised bitumen surface, but was relaid with a Rekortan surface in the late 1990s. The track was most recently resurfaced in 2016. The Fearnley Dawes Athletic Track is located in Newcastle. The venue was opened in 1954 and originally called the Newcastle Athletics Field, until it was renamed in 2017 following the venue’s resurfacing.
