    Llanberris Athletics Reserve is located in Ballarat.

    The track is a Rekortan surface, last relaid in 2014. The original track surface in the 1960s was a compact sand based surface, which was later upgraded to rubberised bitumen.

    The track is regularly used for Athletics Victoria’s Shield competition.

    The venue is managed by the Ballarat Regional Athletic Centre, an incorporated body made up of the local Ballarat athletics clubs.

      With the new athletics stadium being built on the old show grounds the Ballarat council should be leaving the llanberris grounds as they are and not turning it into housing or anything else as Ballarat is getting more Suburbs and more populated every year and more Schools being built which would mean that one athletics stadium would not be enough for this growing city.
