The John Landy Oval at Geelong Grammar is marked with a seasonal grass athletics track.
Geelong Grammar School is an independent Anglican co-educational boarding and day school located in Corio on the northern outskirts of Geelong.
There are synthetic long jump runways and a scoria shot put landing area external to the track.
The school has a strong sporting tradition, with notable athletics alumni including John Landy and Craig Mottram.
The oval was posthumously named in honour of John Landy in 2023. Landy was a student at the school, graduating in 1948, and returned to the school as a teacher from 1954 to 1958.
The track is not open to the public.
The venue placed 3rd in Australia’s Favourite Grass Track competition in 2021 and finished 8th in Australia’s Favourite Track in 2024.
