Deakin University Athletics Track

    The Deakin University Athletics Track is located at the university’s Waurn Ponds campus, in southern Geelong.

    The track was opened in 2016 as part of the elite sport precinct at the university. It is a Spurtan BV surface.

    The track does not have any throwing facilities. The long jump pits are located to the north east of the track, along with a three-lane 50m straight.

    The venue is managed by Deakin University.

      Great track and open 24/7. Parking can be difficult during the week (uni students) but the venue is in great condition. Track has a medium to firm feel under foot in spikes. Venue has an american college track meet feel about it….
