The Treloar Shield Final is the culmination of Athletics NSW’s annual interclub competition. The competition has been conducted for close to a century and was renamed in 2013/14 in honour of the late John Treloar, a finalist in the 100m at the 1952 Olympic Games. Zammit Oval is located in Deception Bay, located approximately 30km north of Brisbane. The venue features a well maintained grass track with synthetic long jump runways.
