The NSW 3000m Championships features a series of time graded races, culminating in the NSW titles for the event.
The meet in its current incarnation dates back to 2003 and has grown in strength to become one the premier track distance running event on the NSW calendar.
The men’s title has been conducted on 20 occasions, while the women’s has been run 41 times, harking back to an era where women weren’t permitted to compete over 5000m.
The event is conducted by Athletics NSW.
