Paul O’Brien Oval is located in the Brisbane suburb of Geebung and features a grass athletics track with synthetic field event facilities.
The venue was named in 1999 after Paul O’Brien OAM, a former Chief Legal Officer of the Brisbane City Council, who was instrumental in the development and success of the local Little Athletics centre and athletics club that operated from the venue.
The venue features a well maintained grass track, along with two synthetic long jump runways, two synthetic high jump fans and two synthetic javelin runways.
Off street parking is accessible via Akaroa Avenue and Madiencombe Street, with limited street parking also available on the latter. The track is also walking distance from Geebung Train Station.
The venue is managed by Brisbane City Council.
