    The Newport Park Athletics Track is located in Newport in Melbourne’s inner western suburbs. The track is located adjacent to the Newport Power Station.

    The track was laid in 1991 and is managed by Hobson’s Bay City Council.

    World Athletics Class 2 Facility The track is a Spurtan BV surface and is a World Athletics Class 2 Certified Facility.

      Great track and in good condition considering its open to public and gets good usage. Its soft under foot (in spikes) with a good return feel. Can get a little exposed to wind and school groups but one of the better tracks in the west.
