McGillvray Oval is located at UWA Sports Park at the University of Western Australia in Perth.
The grass track is well maintained and features an additional straight for sprints on the outside of the home straight.
The venue also has long jump pits with grass runways and throwing cages.
The venue is managed by UWA Sport.
The venue placed 4th in Australia’s Favourite Grass Track in 2021.

Such a great training venue which is available all year round and is purpose built for athletics, with a concrete slab just beneath the surface. Absolute robbery that it didn’t win the Best Grass Track in Australia Competition.
If you don’t love McGillivray, try finding a grass track as good anywhere else. I miss you McG <3
It’s like a bowling green with lanes.
UWA Sports park just near the main track in Perth was the best grass track I ever ran on, at least it was in the early 00s it was like a bowling green.
Best track in Australia, short walk to the second best track in Australia. Training heaven.
