    The Joe Carmody Athletics Track is located in Newborough, in Victoria’s Latrobe Valley.

    The track is surrounded by a cycling velodrome.

    The track was opened in 1991 and named after Joe Carmody, a Life Member of Athletics Victoria who was a successful coach and administrator in the region.

    The track was last resurfaced in 2015.

    The venue is managed by Latrobe Leisure.
