    The venue features a well maintained grass track, synthetic long jump and javelin runways and cinder landing sectors for the shot put.

    The venue is named in memory of Victorian Little Athletics Life Governor and Altona Little Athletics Centre Life Member, George Nevitt. It is managed by Hobsons Bay City Council.
