    Redeveloped in 2024 through a partnership between Hume City Council and the Victorian Government, the Eric Boardman Reserve Athletics Track is a state-of-the-art facility designed to support community and club athletics.

    Key features of the upgrade include:

    • A brand new 400m synthetic running track replacing the former grass surface

    • Facilities for long jump, triple jump, dual high jump, shot put, hammer throw, and discus

    • Turf infield with sub-surface drainage and irrigation

    • Athlete and spectator shelters, new equipment storage, and LED track lighting meeting national and international standards

    • Improved accessibility via a connected pathway network and new landscaping

    Ideal for training, competition, and community use, the redeveloped venue brings a modern athletics hub to Sunbury and the broader Hume region. The venue is managed by Hume City Council.
