CV Kelly Park is located in Girraween in Sydney’s western suburbs.
The track is named after Charles Vincent Kelly, a farmer who previously owned the lands upon which the ground stands. The grounds have been used for rugby league for approximately 70 years, and for athletics for the last 30 years.
The ground is owned by Cumberland City Council and is managed by the CV Kelly Local Parks Committee. The Committee consisting of representatives from each of the three clubs (two athletics, one rugby league) and local community members meet to discuss the running of the club and manage casual usage of the ground.
The ground has a circular track, seperate 100 metre track, two discus cages, two shot circles and four long jump pits.
Girraween Athletics Club conducts coaching at the venue on Monday and Wednesday evenings.
