Westernport Athletics Track is located at Westernport Secondary College. The venue was redeveloped in 1996 and is leased by the Mornington Peninsula Shire. A local management support group, with representatives from Westernport Little Athletics Centre, Westernport Dog Obedience Club, Westernport Soccer Club and Westernport Secondary College manage the venue on behalf of the council. The Lieutenant Commander Al Vonsenden Athletic Track and Field is located at HMAS Cerberus on Melbourne’s Mornington Peninsula. HMAS Cerberus is the Australian Navy’s premier training establishment. About 6,000 personnel are trained annually, averaging 800 trainees onboard at any one time.
