    The Perth Track Classic returns in 2026 after a successful hosting in 2025 following five year hiatus from the Australian domestic athletics scene.

    The event will be a World Athletics Continental Tour Bronze meet which garners Category C points for World Athletics Rankings.

    The Perth Track Classic dates back to 1986 under various names including the Swan Challenge, Perth Invitational, Burswood Casino Challenge, Fruit ‘N Veg Classic, Optus Grand Prix Perth, Bankwest Grand Prix and Telstra A-Series.

    The meet is conducted by Australian Athletics.

    2026 EVENTS:

    Men: 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 5000m, 110m H, Pole Vault, Long Jump, High Jump, Javelin, 100m Ambulant

    Women: 100m, 200m, 400m, 1500m, 100m H, 400m H, Pole Vault, Triple Jump, Discus, 100m Ambulant
