The Sydney Track Classic is the premier invitational high performance athletics meet annually held in Sydney. The meet has been cancelled for the 2026 season, due to the resurfacing of SOPAC not being complete in time for the meet to be held. Barton Park is located in North Parramatta in Sydney’s Western Suburbs. The venue features an oval track, long jump pit and throwing cages.  It is used for both senior and junior athletics in summer and winter and used extensively for school sport carnivals.
