Gerry Green Reserve is a suburban oval in Melbourne’s south-east suburbs, that was marked as an athletics track once a year for the Parkdale Gift.
The oval is mainly used for cricket and AFL
The venue was previously called Parkdale Recreation Reserve but was renamed in 1972 after former Mayor of Mordialloc, Gerry Green.
With the Parkdale Gift being renamed as the Beachside Gift for its 2022 edition, to be held at Mentone Reserve, it is assumed that Gerry Green Reserve will no longer be marked as an athletics track.
The venue is managed by the City of Kingston and enjoyed the development of a $2.8m pavilion in 2018.
