Edwardes Lake Park is located in Reservoir in Melbourne’s northern suburbs.
An athletics track has existed at the site since at least the 1950s, when a cinder track replaced the grass track that was present. A rubberised asphalt track was laid in 1970, which was replaced by a Spurtan BV synthetic track in June 2020.
The track features its shot put circles on the inside of the home straight, with the throwing direction towards the back straight.
The venue is managed by the City of Darebin.

Great facility. Would like to see lights and a fence installed though.
What happened to the West Bell Little Athletics club, my husband is a Life member
In 2005, the clubs that made up Preston Reservoir Little Athletics Centre amalgamated to form the one centre. The decision to amalgamate was decided by club members at the time to keep costs down and to keep the centre sustainable. This meant that athletes didn’t require two separate uniforms, and there wasn’t a need for multiple committees. All of the old clubs that were part of PRLAC haven’t been forgotten. They remain part of the heart and soul of the centre with respect for our history and our past.
