Davies Reserve Athletics Track is located in Oakleigh South in Melbourne.
The track has recently been converted to a grass track, replacing an ageing rubberised asphalt surface. A synthetic high jump D has been added during these works, undertaken by Monash City Council. The asphalt surface had become brittle and uneven was at the end of its lifespan.
The track currently consists of an eight lane 400 meter running track, dual double ended long/triple jump runway strips along the outside of the main straight.
Inside the south east bend is a javelin runway plus a square shaped high jump area.
Inside the north end are opposing twin shot put circles with a scoria landing area, plus two, side by side throwing circles, one for discus and one for hammer throw. A further discus circle with a safety cage is also located in the south east corner, adjacent to the high jump area.
The track previously had an internal steeplechase water jump, but this had been filled in and covered with asphalt and was completely removed during the transformation into a grass track.
The venue is open to the public and managed by Monash City Council.
