The Bill Sewart Athletics Track is located in East Burwood in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs.
The track was established as a rubberised bitumen surface in 1983. It was converted to a polyurethane surface (Spurtan V) in 1997 and subsequently resurfaced in 2006 and 2012.
The track is named after the late Bill Sewart, a respected City Engineer for the City of Nunawading (which is now the City of Whitehorse).
The track is managed by the Bill Sewart Athletics Track Association.
The track is a Conispur SW surface and is a World Athletics Class 2 Certified Facility.
