    The Little Athletics NSW State Championships are held in Sydney over the weekend of 23-24 March.

    Athletes in the Under 9 to Under 17 age groups qualify for the State Championships through a pathway from Zone Championships to Regional Championships. Fields of up to 24 athletes contest each event, comprised of the top two places at each Regional Championships and the next best eight performances across all Regions.

    The Little Athletics NSW State Championships have been conducted since 1972, with venues including Hensley Athletics Field, ES Marks Athletics Field and the current venue (since 1994) of Sydney Olympic Park Athletic Centre.
