The Brisbane Track Classic is the premier invitational high performance athletics meet annually held in Brisbane.
The meet is a World Athletics Continental Tour Silver meet which accrues Category B points for World Athletics Rankings.
The meet is conducted by Athletics Australia.
The Brisbane Track Classic in various forms dates back to 1988 and has been known by a number of names throughout its history as the premier Brisbane athletics event of the domestic season. These include: International Meet, AIS Drug Offensive, Mobil Grand Prix, Sugar Games, Mars Challenge, Optus Grand Prix, Optus Grand Prix Final, Grand Prix – Brisbane, Telstra A-Series, Queensland Track Classic and Queensland International Track Classic. The current naming rights sponsor is Chemist Warehouse.
No meet was held in 2001 or 2002, years in which Brisbane hosted the Australian Championships.
The meet has been held at either the Queensland Sport & Athletics Centre or the Queensland State Athletics Centre during its history.
