The Australian Junior (Under 14 to Under 18) Track and Field Championships will be held in Brisbane in 2023.
Events are conducted in Under 14, Under 15, Under 16, Under 17 and Under 18 age groups, with athletes needing to be under the age at 31 December in the year of the meet. Entry is via meeting qualifying standards set by Athletics Australia or placing on the podium in the corresponding event
In recent history the event had been conducted in conjunction with the Australian Open & U20 Championships. This was following a rejuvenation of the event in the mid 2010s, following a period of a decade where the event was not held. Prior to then, the event was held under the name of the Australian Under Age Championships, in Under 14, Under 16 and Under 18 age groups.
