The Sydney Track Classic is the premier invitational high performance athletics meet annually held in Sydney. The meet has been cancelled for the 2026 season, due to the resurfacing of SOPAC not being complete in time for the meet to be held. Jack Cook Memorial Park is located in the Brisbane suburb of Toowong and features a grass track. The UQ Sport Athletics Centre is located at the University of Queensland’s St Lucia campus. The venue was opened in 1998. The track was last resurfaced in 2011, following damage caused by flooding.
