The Sydney Track Classic is the premier invitational high performance athletics meet annually held in Sydney. The meet has been cancelled for the 2026 season, due to the resurfacing of SOPAC not being complete in time for the meet to be held. Blacktown International Sports Park Athletics Centre was opened in 2000 as a training venue for international teams prior to the Olympic Games. CV Kelly Park is located in Girraween in Sydney’s western suburbs. The track is named after Charles Vincent Kelly, a farmer who previously owned the lands upon which the ground stands.
