The Adelaide Invitational is a World Athletics Continental Tour – Challenger meet accrues Category D ranking points for World Athletics Rankings. Bill Paterson Oval is located within Limestone Park in Ipswich in south-east Queensland. The oval features a grass athletics track, which has synthetic long jump runways on its infield.
