The Sydney Track Classic is the premier invitational high performance athletics meet annually held in Sydney. The meet has been cancelled for the 2026 season, due to the resurfacing of SOPAC not being complete in time for the meet to be held. The Campbelltown Athletics Centre was built in 1999 as a training track for international teams prior to the 2000 Olympic Games. Holsworthy Army Barracks Physical Fitness Facility features a four lane synthetic track approximately 580m in length. The track was installed in 2015 as part of an upgrade to the physical fitness facilities at the base. The venue is not available for public use. Dwyer Oval is located at Warwick Farm in Sydney’s western suburbs. The venue features a grass athletics track with three synthetic grass long jump runways. During the athletics off-season it is used for Rugby Union. The venue is managed by Liverpool City Council. Read more…
