The Sydney Track Classic is the premier invitational high performance athletics meet annually held in Sydney. The meet has been cancelled for the 2026 season, due to the resurfacing of SOPAC not being complete in time for the meet to be held. Harold Corr Oval is a synthetic track located in Cambridge Park in Sydney’s west. The venue was previously a grass track before being converted to a synthetic surface following a $4.5M upgrade. The synthetic track was opened in September 2023 and is a World Athletics Class 2 facility. The venue is managed by Penrith City Council. Read more…
Blacktown International Sports Park Athletics Centre was opened in 2000 as a training venue for international teams prior to the Olympic Games. The track is a Mondo surface – the only in NSW – and is managed by Blacktown Sports Park, on behalf of Blacktown Council.
