The Treloar Shield Final is the culmination of Athletics NSW’s annual interclub competition. The competition has been conducted for close to a century and was renamed in 2013/14 in honour of the late John Treloar, a finalist in the 100m at the 1952 Olympic Games. Makepeace Oval is a grass athletics track that is located in Fairfield in Sydney’s western suburbs.
