The Sydney Track Classic is the premier invitational high performance athletics meet annually held in Sydney. The meet has been cancelled for the 2026 season, due to the resurfacing of SOPAC not being complete in time for the meet to be held. Makepeace Oval is a grass athletics track that is located in Fairfield in Sydney’s western suburbs. The track has long straights approximately 100m long, with tight bends to fit within the venue’s footprint.
